Death of Mrs. Nannie L. Walker

Mrs. Nannie L. Walker, wife of James H. Walker, Spanish American War Veteran, Company "A", 2nd Georgia Volunteer Infantry, who has been a resident of the Colorda (sic) State soldiers' and Sailors' Home at Homelake for approximately four and one half years, passed away in the Hospital at Homelake, Colorado, Saturday evening, February 21, 1942.
She was born on May 27th, 1880 at Dahlonega, Georgia.  On March 7th, 1897 she was married to James H. Walker.  There were two children by this marriage.
Prior to coming to the Home Mr. and Mrs. Walker resided at Pueblo, Colorado.
Besides residents of the Home and a host of other friends, she leaves to mourn here passing, her husband, James H. Walker of Homelake; her daughter, Mrs. Blanche Day of Pueblo, and her son, Wallace Walker of Pueblo.
